The Georgetown Historical Society has issued a statement defending its agreement with the Sons of the Confederate Veterans while it has committed itself to a committee to resolve objections to the flag. Delmarva Public Media's Don Rush talks with Tom Irvine, chair of the History Committee of the Southern Delaware Alliance for Racial Justice which wants the flag taken down, about his dissatisfaction with the Society's latest statement.

Don Rush is the News Director and Senior Producer of News and Public Affairs at Delmarva Public Media. An award-winning journalist, Don reports major local issues of the day, from sea level rise, to urban development, to the changing demographics of Delmarva.
