64,000 Americans Diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes Each Year

Much progress has been made in fighting Type 1 Diabetes, but still some 93% of those who are diagnosed have no family history. Delmarva Public Media's Don Rush talked with Anastasia Albanese-O'Neill, with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, who says there is a need to make testing for Type 1 Diabetes a regular procedure for patients.
