The race for an Eastern Shore state senate seat is underway. Salisbury City Council member Michele Gregory announced that she would make the effort to unseat Republican Mary Beth Carozza who defeated the popular Jim Mathias continuing the GOP's consolidation on the Eastern Shore. Gregory told Delmarva Public Media's Don Rush that she understood it would be a tough fight to bring the seat back into the Democratic party fold.
