The recent videos of African American men dying at the hands of police officers have spurred legislative efforts at police reform on the national and state levels. Delmarva Public Media's Don Rush talked with Haneef Salaam, the American Civil Liberties Union of Delaware's manager of the Campaign for Smart Justice, who says that there needs to be new civilian oversight and a reorientation of law enforcement.
