Under the Recovering America's Wildlife Act Maryland would receive $11 million to preserve the state's species. That would be up from the $680,000 it currently receives. Delmarva Public Media's Don Rush talked with the Federation's president Colin O'Mara about efforts to get passage and what the money would mean for Delmarva.

Don Rush is the News Director and Senior Producer of News and Public Affairs at Delmarva Public Media. An award-winning journalist, Don reports major local issues of the day, from sea level rise, to urban development, to the changing demographics of Delmarva.
