The Life of Chasten Buttigieg

Human Rights Campaign

Much attention was drawn to Pete Buttigieg an openly gay candidate running for the Democratic presidential nomination. His husband Chasten has written a new book entitled, "I Have Something to Tell You: A Memoir". It tells of his early life in rural America to the spouse of a presidential candidate. Delmarva Public Media's Don Rush caught up with him before a virtual appearance at Browseabout Books in Delaware to talk about his life. This is an excerpt from that half hour interview which will be aired in full this Friday at 9 a.m. on WSDL 90.7 FM.

Don Rush is the News Director and Senior Producer of News and Public Affairs at Delmarva Public Media. An award-winning journalist, Don reports major local issues of the day, from sea level rise, to urban development, to the changing demographics of Delmarva.
