Smithsonian

DOVER, Del. (AP) - The state of Delaware will host events throughout 2020 to mark the 100th anniversary of women's right to vote in the United States.

Delaware State News reported Sunday that the planned celebrations include a march around Legislative Hall that will end with the erection of a monument honoring the women's suffrage movement.

The Women's Suffrage Centennial Committee also plans to have historical markers installed in each county.
