Famed National Geographic Photographer Kevin Fleming accused of tax evasion admits he set up a publishing company to cover his personal expenses.
Fleming is facing a federal government indictment in which he admits that the publishing company did not have employees, assets or bank accounts.
WBOC reports that the photographer previously told the television station’s Delmarva Life that he had had more success from his books than from his work for National Geographic.
Fleming has become prominent on the Eastern Shore with his table top books that contain his photos.
They are published by Portfolio Books, Inc.
