Newark Resident Appears on Family Feud After Freak Accident at Audition

youtube

Being on a game show can be exciting.

But for Newark’s Rafael Pagan his audition for Family Feud landed him in the hospital two years ago.

The 56-year-old Pagan’ said afterward that he was jumping so much that he pulled a calf muscle in his leg and was sent to the emergency room.

Contributing to the excitement was the fact that Pagan’ and his sister first auditioned for the show in October of 2017.

But the family did not hear back until this year.

They were flown to Los Angeles to film an episode with host Steve Harvey at Universal Studios in April.

Pagan, who is Puerto Rican, believes his family’s heritage and enthusiasm put his family over the top.

The show will air on October 30th on WMDT.
