DOVER, Del. (AP) - Police in Delaware say a crash involving three vehicles on wet roads has killed one person and left another critically injured.

News outlets report Dover police say 67-year-old Deborah Young died and 27-year-old Shawn Shannon is in a hospital following the crash Tuesday night.

Dover police Master Cpl. Mark Hoffman says Young's minivan collided with a car turning left on a highway. Both vehicles spun before stopping on the road.

Hoffman says Shannon approached the vehicles to offer help. Then, an SUV struck the minivan while Young was still in it. Shannon was hit by one of the vehicles involved in the second collision.

The driver of the car and the SUV suffered minor injuries. Both have been treated and released from a hospital. No charges have been filed.
