Security Guards at Dover Public Libraries, But No Guns

creative commons

There will soon be security guards at Dover’s public library.

But they will not be carrying guns.

The city council last night okayed the city manager’s decision to hire a security firm.

The contract runs less than $56-thousand.

City manager Donna Mitchell told WBOC that the town will see how these officers workout before discussing any presences of an armed officer in the building.
