Historic Structure is No More on Deal Island

preservationmaryland.org

The Severn Mister House is no longer.

Also known as the Bradshaw House the structure on Deal Island was demolished by the Maryland Department of Natural Resources.

WBOC reports that state officials believe home dated back to 1815.

And the damage over the years had taken its toll.

The state agency had put it up for free last year but it was not economically feasible to restore the building.

DNR said it is not clear what will happen to the property.

Pictures of the structure has been provided by the Maryland Historical Trust.
