Allure Nightclub Closed for Financial Reasons

youtube

The Allure Nightclub is being closed down because of a failure to pay rent.

That’s according to the attorney who represents the co-owner James Kozel.

It was not, the attorney added, because of crime.

The closure followed the shooting of three people last week in the parking lot next to the club.

WBOC reports that Kozen could not be reached for comment but another co-owner Shawn Sheppard said “There was more to it.”

He said he felt there had been pressure from the City of Dover or Delaware State officils to have the club closed down because of crime.

Sheppard added that the nightclub had gone to great lengths to hire more security but could not go beyond the limits of te property.

He declined to comment on specific legal action in the eviction.
