Former Delmar High School Football Player Signs With Eagles

Kansas City Chiefs

Alex Ellis a tight end for Delmar High School has been signed by the Eagles Football team.

Last October Ellis the Kansas City Chiefs released him after a wrist injury.

The Wilmington News Journal reports that he will be on the field for his first preseason game on Thursday night.

He was seen on the field last Saturday with his new teammates quarterback Carson Wentz and tight end Zach Ertz.

Ellis had been working out in Nashville when the Eagles called.

He told the paper that it has been crazy.

Ellis is following the legacy of his grandfather Bill Pugh who was a running back to for the Eagles several decades ago.
