Motorcycle Convoy Pays Tribute to Pharon Hameed

Obituary

A convoy of motorcycles was seen in Kent County to pay tribute to former Army National Guardsman Pharon Hameed.

It began its journey in Oregon and made its stop in Delaware before heading to Arlington Cemetery.

WBOC reports it made a stop at Brecknock Park in Camden and deliver a plague and photo of Hameed to his family.

His wife Michelle told the television station that this would remind his children just how much a hero he was to so many people.

She said Hameed died in December of last year from a heart condition.

The convoy should reach Arlington by this weekend with a ceremony set for Sunday.
