ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) - A judge will hear arguments over evidence in the case of a man accused of killing five people at a Maryland newspaper.
A pretrial hearing is set for Wednesday in Annapolis.
Attorneys will argue about potential redactions to jail records for Jarrod Ramos, who is charged with murder.
Lawyers are expected to argue about a defense request to allow subpoenas of records from four people relating to a longtime dispute Ramos had with the Capital Gazette.
They include editor Rick Hutzel and attorney Robert Douglas, who represented the newspaper when Ramos sued for alleged defamation. Lawyers also want records from an attorney who represented a woman Ramos was found guilty of harassing, and his sister.
Ramos has pleaded not guilty and not criminally responsible, Maryland's version of an insanity defense.
