Accurate Optical Closes in Salisbury

Accurate Optical in Salisbury has been shut down leaving many local residents who had ordered glasses in the lurch.

The company that the real estate company that owns the property says that months of rent remained unpaid.

Azar/Filipov Real Estate Holdings LLC said that the Accurate Optical had also failed to meet its financial obligations at other locations in Ocean Pines and Laurel, Delaware.

Accurate Optical had been serving the Delmarva Peninsula for over 60 years with five other locations listed in Easton, Ocean City, Cambridge, Stevensville and Millsboro.

The Salisbury Daily Times reports that Accurate Optical owed that landlord over $17-thousand as of April 1st according to court documents.
