Heat Advisories and Flood Watches Ahead

There’s a heat advisory for the counties of Accomack, Caroline, Dorchester, inland Sussex and inland Worcester as well as both Kent Counties in Delaware and Maryland.

In addition, Queen Anne’s, Somerset and Talbot and Wicomico Counties are also under a heat advisory.

And with the prospect of rain later today there’s a flash flood watch for Caroline County and inland Sussex County and both Kent Counties in Delaware and Maryland as well as Queen Anne’s and Talbot counties.

Temperatures over the weekend hit over a hundred on Delmarva with the index hitting as high as 115.

The National Weather Service says that we should still expect temperatures into the mid-90’s today.

Highs will hover around the 80’s though the weekend.
