Salisbury Could Have Tallest Building on Eastern Shore Outside OC

Becker Morgan

It’s set to be the tallest building in downtown Salisbury and tallest on the Eastern Shore outside of Ocean City.

Yesterday the town officials and developers broke ground on the structure that will be known as The Ross.

WBOC reports that developer Nick Simpson says he wants a building that will draw younger professionals and students to the downtown area.

The structure on Main Street will have nearly 60 apartments for student housing along with a rooftop grill.

There will also be a conference room with a kitchen.

Completion of the building could come as early as the end of next year.
