Wilmington says goodbye to three schools as part of the consolidation of the Christina School District.

Elbert-Palmer Elementary, Pulaski Elementary and Stubbs Elementary schools have seen their final days this week.

The Wilmington News Journal reports first-through-eighth grade students from the three schools will be divided between Bancroft Elementary School and Bayard Middle School.

Preschool and kindergarten students will move to Stubbs Elementary which will also provide space for adult education and other family services.

The moves come as a result of the Wilmington Schools Partnership agreement with the district and the state of Delaware.
