Delaware Companies Involved in Suit Against Ukrainian Oligarchs

creative commons

Companies formed in Delaware are now center of a lawsuit by Privatbank against two Ukrainian oligarchs.

The suit charges former owners Igor Kolomoisky and Gennadiy Bogolubov with creating the companies in order to facilitate a fraud.

The Wilmington News Journal reports that the suit charges that the two unjustly enriched themselves and engaged in fraudulent transfers as well as involvement in racketeering activities.

The suit claims that they used the bank as their own personal piggy bank stealing billions of dollars in the process.

The legal action is just one in a series of lawsuits that involve the two billionaires and the bank’s transactions across a number of countries.
