ceative commons

Surf fishers have until February 1st to pick up a Delaware state park vehicle permit before the cost goes up.

The Wilmington News Journal reports permits go up to $90.

That’s a $10 hike.

Out-of-staters will be now being pay $180 or a $20 increase.

The paper reports that the two-year permits can be had before February first at the current rate to avoid an increase until 2021.

The money will go for regulation enforcement at the parks.
