Perdue Recalls Batch of Organic Chicken Breast Nuggets

Perdue Foods has issued the recall of a batch of chicken nuggets.

The reason: the packages may contain pieces of wood.

On its Facebook page the poultry company says it is doing this voluntarily.

The label to look for is PERDUE®SIMPLY SMART® Organics Gluten Free Chicken Breast Nuggets.

The product code number is 80656 with a Best By date of October 25th 2019.

The company says that the recall amounts to just over 64-thousasnd pounds of chicken or nearly 50-thousand bags.
