White nationalist James Fields has been hit with a life sentence plus 419 years in the death of Heather Heyer and injuring others when he drove into a crowd at the Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville in 2017.

The 21-year old from Ohio heard his sentence read out after being convicting of murder.

In addition to the prison sentence there was a half a million fine related to the attack.

That included a hundred thousand dollars for the murder itself.

The ten counts against him also included malicious wounding and a death involving an accident.
