Historic Ocean City Hotel on the Market

The famed Lankford Hotel in Ocean City is going on the market for $16 million.

The Salisbury Daily Times reports that the future of the structure is uncertain.

The hotel was built in 1924 and has been a landmark on the boardwalk over the decades.

It covers over 43-thousand square feet and has around 53 rental units.

The property also has a number of apartments that includes the Ayresbuilt, the Sea Robin and the Lankford Lodge.

In addition, here are six commercial storefront property on and below the Boardwalk.

The Daily Times reports that the current owners of the property did not respond yesterday for comment on the sale.
