Judge's Campaign Signs Vandalized in Caroline County

official photo

Campaign signs for Circuit Court Judge Jonathan Newell in Caroline County have been vandalized.

Some of his signs have been plastered with a big sticker reading CORRUPT.

Newell told WBOC that he figures nearly half of his 100 signs have been hit with the vandalism.

The candidate says he has no idea who might be behind it or why they would target him.

Maryland police are looking into where the stickers came from and want anyone with information to come forward.
