$4 Billion for Delaware Infrastructure

all-free-download.com

Delaware will be receiving $4 billion for infrastructure beginning in 2020 and lasting until 2025.

$3.2 billion of that is part of the new Capital Transportation Program to modernize the state’s highways.

WBOC reports that Governor John Carney in making the announcement said that this would mean the creation of jobs, an easing of traffic congestion and ultimately economic growth for the First State.

The television station reports that there are two major projects.

One is the US 13 Camden widening project while the other is the SR 1 Minos Conaway Grade Separated Intersection in Sussex County.

The infrastructure program must still be approved by the Council on Transportation.
