National Folk Festival Announces 23 Artists & Craftspeople

National Folk Festival

The National Folk Festival announced the lineup for 23 artists and craftspeople from across the Delmarva Peninsula.

The Salisbury Daily Times reports that the Festival Marketplace will feature the country’s finest artists during the 78th National Folk Festival in Salisbury from September 7th through the 9th.

Artists announced yesterday included Erick Sahler Serigraphs Company of Salisbury which produces hand-pulled silkscreen prints inspired by the Chesapeake Bay Region and Eddie Wozny Shorebirds and Waterfowl Carvings of Cambridge with hand-carved wooden sculptures.

In addition there was Kelley Gravenor who offers up fabric handbags and photographer Kim Bemis whose work features landscapes and wildlife.

The festival is expected to have over 350 artists from musicians and dancers to craftspeople and storytellers.
