In Accomack County the Route 13 entrance to a Tyson’s Foods plant in Temperanceville is unsafe.

That’s the word from Jeff Boyden the safety manager of the complex.

The Salisbury Daily Times reports that he noted that there have been two crashes in that location this year.

Boyden added that a few years ago an employed was killed there as well.

He said he is asking the Virginia Department of Transportation to put in a stop light to slow the traffic along the road.

The plant has two daily work shifts with around 600 employees arriving and leaving at the same time.
