Snow on the Way

Don Rush

The region apparently is not through with snow just yet.

A two day storm is set to hit the Delmarva region bringing 2-to-6 inches of the white stuff to the lower region beginning tonight and lasting through tomorrow night.

For Wicomico, Somerset and Worcester counties the forecast is expecting 3-to-5 inches.

The Salisbury Daily Times reports that the resort towns along the coast are expected to receive less snow.

Meanwhile, forecasters say Sussex County is expected to get up to 6 inches before it’s all over.

In northern Delaware forecasters say there could be as much as 8 to 13 inches of snow.

They also expect inland winds of up to 40 mph as the storm enters its last phase on Wednesday.

On the Eastern Shore of Virginia Chincoteague and Accomac are expected to see 2 inches of snow while Northampton County should receive around an inch.

This will be the fourth nor’easter to hit Delmarva in the last few weeks.
