Body Identified After Found with Kayak in Broadkill River

The body of a man who was found with his kayak on the Broadkill River has been identified as 62-year-old Dan Cochran IV of Lewes.

The Salisbury Daily Times reports that a couple came across his kayak and his body in the early afternoon of October 28th.

Cochran was recovered by the Lewes Fire Department and his body was turned over to state authorities for an autopsy.

The accident is now under investigation by the Delaware Fish & Wildlife Natural Resources Police.
