Delaware State Trooper Corporal Stephen Ballard was memorialized yesterday with the unveiling of his photo at the Delaware State Police Museum.
Ballard was gunned down outside a convenience store in the Bear area.
As he neared a suspicious car the passenger leaped out and began firing at him.
Wilmington News Journal reports that Ballard’s wife Louise and his mother Robin were in attendance for the unveiling of his picture on the Memorial Wall.
Executives from JPMorgan Chase Bank provided a donation of $10-thousand to the museum in honor of Ballard and his sacrifice.
