$5.5 Million Donation for SU's Entrepreneurship Program

Salisbury University website

David Rommel may be described as a low key businessman.

But yesterday he stood in the atrium of the Franklin P. Perdue Schools of Business to donate $5.5 million most of which will go to Salisbury University’s Center for Entrepreneurship.

The center opens in 2019.

University President Janet Dudley-Eshbach praised Rommel and his family adding that his family’s generosity may encourage others to join him.

The center will offer a place for students and entrepreneurs to work in making their business dreams come true.

For the last four years the university has hosted an entrepreneur competition that provides funds for promising business ventures.
