Snow hit the peninsula this weekend with over a foot in some areas.
Ocean View saw around 13 inches with Lewes, Delaware getting 10 inches.
In Salisbury and Snow Hill there was 9 top 10 inches of snow.
Up in Delaware it ranged from Dover with 3 and a half inches and Smyrna with 6 inches to 9.4 inches in in Selbyville.
Governor Jack Markell lifted the state of emergency after Saturday’s winter storm and the Delaware Department of Transportation made good progress in clearing off the roads.
Officials tell Associated Press that crews in Kent and Sussex counties plowed and salted primary and secondary roads by Sunday night.
They say they will continue to work on subdivisions and expect to finish most of those on Monday.
But motorists are still urged to drive cautiously – especially in Sussex County.
Meanwhile, a large number of offices and schools were closed up and down the peninsula (WBOC).
Sunday saw many Delmarvans digging out the snow, plows clearing the streets and some taking advantage of the white stuff with some sledding in Salisbury’s City Park.
