In the Tri-State region it was a clean sweep for Hillary Clinton in the presidential race.
But despite garnering the support of the Electoral College members in Maryland, Delaware and Virginia the Democrat lost nationally to president-elect Donald Trump.
Clinton picked up three delegates in Delaware, ten in Maryland and 13 in Virginia.
But the Republican nominee won the Electoral College by 304 votes to Clinton’s 227.
Clinton won the popular vote by nearly 3 million.
