Clinton Prison Costume Draws Fire at Virginia High School

News Leader

STAUNTON, Va. (AP) - The superintendent of Staunton City Schools says no one has complained directly to her office about a high school secretary dressing up as Hillary Clinton in an orange prison jumpsuit for Halloween.

However, several people have taken to social media to express concern about the costume after a picture of the secretary appeared on Robert E. Lee High School's website. The photo also showed the school principal, who was dressed as Donald Trump.

The News Leader of Staunton reports that the photo of Principal Mark Rowicki and secretary Stephanie Corbett was taken down from the website Wednesday afternoon.

Superintendent Linda Reviea says she contacted Rowicki and the picture was taken down. She would not say whether the incident would lead to any disciplinary action, saying it was a personnel matter.
