Maryland Casino Revenue Up

It was a hot August for Maryland casinos.

State officials say they brought in over $100 million last month.

That’s 3.7 percent higher than last year at this time.

The big winner was Maryland Live Casino which raked in nearly $56 million while Horseshoe Casino Baltimore pulled in nearly $28 million.

Ocean Downs produced $6.2 million with its 800 slot machines. It does not have any table games.

Hollywood Casino Perryville brought in $5.9 million. That was a decline of 9.5 percent from this time last year.   

Finally, Rocky Gap Casino Resort generated $4.5 million.
