Buccini/Pollin could acquire the Hotel du Pont in Wilmington.
The Wilmington News Journal reports that the state has authorized $1 million for the investor group 1007 Market LLC which is housed in the same building as the Buccini/Pollin group headquarters.
The paper reports that a hotel spokesman said there was no deal yet with the Wilmington developer.
Buccini/Pollin applied for the state money under the LLC from the Downtown Development Districts program.
The News Journal reports that a spokeswoman for the company declined to comment when contacted.
