The Thunderbirds are coming to the Ocean City Air Show this weekend.

The U.S. Air Force confirmed they were on their way after a June 2nd crash that resulted in Major Alex Turner parachuted to safety during a commencement address that include President Obama.

That was same day that a member of the U.S. Navy Blue Angels saw Capt. Jeff Kuss killed when his jet crashed in a flight from Wallops Flight Facility.

The Salisbury Daily Times reports that this weekend’s Air Show will see the first flight performances of the new superfighter the F-35 Lightning II Joint Strike fighter.

The Navy will also feature the F/A Super Hornet.
