RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - U.S. Labor Secretary Tom Perez is coming to swing-state Virginia to speak to the state's Democrats.

The Democratic Party of Virginia said Monday that Perez is the featured speaker for the party's annual Jefferson-Jackson fundraiser.

Perez is a potential running mate of Democratic presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton.

Virginia Sens. Mark Warner and Tim Kaine are also often mentioned as potential vice presidential candidates.

The Jefferson-Jackson event is scheduled for June 18 in Richmond.
