New Hotel and Restaurant Planned for Ocean City

ocean city government

There could be a new tourist attraction in Ocean City.

An old concrete factory site that sits just off of the Route 50 Bridge into the resort would be turned into a waterfront hotel and restaurant.

Marc McFaul owner of the eight story structure told WBOC that he saw the new site as an extension of restaurant row.

But one problem may be that of height.

The resort requires structures that are higher than 8 stories to have special windows and roofs.

A formal presentation to the city planning commission is expected for its June 7th meeting.
