There were family and friends on Sunday who remembered the life of Amy Joyner-Francis who was killed in a restroom at Howard High School of Technology last month.
The memorial service for the 16-year old was held at the St. Paul UAME Church in Wilmington.
The Wilmington News Journal reports that one by one her classmates stood up to tell about their memories of the young student.
Three women who identified themselves as alumni of the high school told the paper that the evening was like time spent with the family.
There have been no charges filed in the case as of yet.
