wikipedia

A 16 year old girl was killed in a bathroom at Howard High School of Technology in Wilmington early yesterday.

Friends of Amy Joyner-Francis told the Wilmington News Journal that she went into the restroom around 8 a.m.

She was taken out on a stretcher around 30 minutes later and died at A.I. DuPont Hospital for Children.

The News Journal reports that police are not giving out any details about what occurred or the cause of death.

Homicide detectives were seen talking with students considered persons of interests.

The paper also reports the police chief Bobby Cummings said that two female students were taken to the police station.
