RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - Democratic Gov. Terry McAuliffe is meeting with business and government officials in San Francisco to try to bring new jobs back Virginia.

McAuliffe traveled to California with Secretary of Commerce and Trade Maurice Jones, Secretary of Technology Karen Jackson and other Virginia officials on Wednesday.

The governor and the rest of the Virginia crew are attending an information and cyber security conference. They're also holding more than 30 economic development meetings with cyber security industry representatives during their time in the state.

McAuliffe said trips of this kind provide a good chance to convince corporate leaders to invest in Virginia.
