WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - Gov. Jack Markell is joining other officials in touting a new initiative to reduce the number of unplanned pregnancies in Delaware.

Markell planned to meet Wednesday with participants training for implementation of a state effort to increase access to the full range of contraception options for all women, including IUDs and implants.

State officials are joining with a nonprofit group called Upstream USA to increase access to long-acting reversible contraceptives.
