There was a blanket of snow on the ground for the Martin Luther King Junior holiday.

There were only a few trouble spots and some residents told the television station that they hoped after the last few winters this year would see milder temperatures.
Today is expected to be sunny and brisk with the highs in the upper 20's. Some west winds of 15 to 20 m.p.h. with gusts as high as 30 m.p.h. are expected to produce wind chill values as low as zero.
