The surcharge for Bloom Energy and its fuel cells will get a separate line on Delmarva Power’s electric bills.

The Delaware Public Service Commission was urged to do so by lawmakers

The Wilmington News Journal reports that Bloom opposed the listing arguing that it was being singled out.

But, supporters countered that the company has only hired 224 or the 900 they had promised by 2017 after receiving public funds.

The News Journal reports that Delmarva Power will have to buy fuel cells from the company.
