creative commons

It’s called Smart 911.

And Kent County Delaware plans to ramp it up next week.

It’s a system by which you can sign up with information such as medical conditions, home locations and even photos of people and pets.

WBOC reports that the Kent County Department of Public Safety Chief Colin Faulkner had some concerns about privacy but says those have been addressed by the company providing the service.

Kent county is calling for people to sign up.

The television station reports that both Sussex and New Castle Counties already have the service but the smaller dispatch centers in Dover and New Castle County still to not have it.
