Rev. Curry Speaks Out on Reports of Racism in Delaware State Government

Delaware was hit with a political bombshell this week as the Interdenominational Ministers Action  Council and the NAACP charged they are working on report that finds numerous incidents of racism in state government offices.

The groups charged that they have received reports of racial harassment as well as job discrimination.

The Wilmington News Journal broke the story this week following up with reaction from state officials.

Governor Jack Markell has sent out an email to state employees telling them after meeting with the groups he believes there concerns legitimate.

Delmarva Public Radio's Don Rush spoke with one of those involved in the investigation, Reverend Christopher Curry, Ezion Fair baptist Church in Wilmington, about the pending report which will be delivered to the governor once it is completed.
