Friends Recall Lee Harcum, "A Genuinely Nice Guy"

legacy.com

Friends of 62 year-old Lee Harcum recall a much different man than the one described by friends of his nephew William Harcum who is accused of killing him this week in Mardela Springs.

25 year old Nick Leto met Lee Harcum at the now shuttered Break Time Grill and Pub in Salisbury.

He told the Salisbury Daily Times that when shooting pool Lee was the kind of person who would go out of his way to teach someone a new trick.

The paper reports that Lee was the district representative for the American Poolplayers Association.

Mike Smith of Delmar knew Lee through the pool league.

He told the Daily Times that Lee was always quick with a joke and a smile.

Smith said, “He just seemed like a genuinely nice guy.”
